(PITTSBURGH, PA) October 20, 2020 —  MHS Labs, one of the fastest growing independent full-service clinical laboratories offering traditional, molecular, and genetic testing, announced today that it has completed a major expansion of its clinical laboratory located in Monroeville, Pennsylvania add will add more new jobs this year.

Among many other tests, MHS Labs offers COVID-19 testing using a technology called PCR (polymerase chain reaction), the most common and most accurate test for diagnosing active coronavirus infection.

MHS Labs phlebotomists regularly serve nursing home patients in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia, and pick up specimens early in the day to offer the provider some results by afternoon. Couriers also pick up specimens at client locations such as physician offices, hospitals, schools, and businesses. The services of MHS Labs will continue to help reduce the burden on emergency rooms.
